Given:-

Speed of the car from A to B=40km/h

Speed of the car from B to A=80km/h

Let the,two speeds Be V1 and V2 respectively.

To find:-

Average speed of the car.

Solution:-

The distance travelled by the car in both cases is same.

Thus,when distance travelled is same,then average speed is--------

=>2V1V2/V1+V2

=>(2×40×80)/(40+80)

=>6400/120

=>53.33km/h

Hence,average speed of the car is 53.33km/h
