a businessman borrowed rs. 200000 from two moneylender. for one loan the rate of simple interest was 8% per annum while for other it was 6% per annum . he paid a total interest of rs 27200 for 2 year . find the sum borrowed on each rate of interest by him

let 8% interest borrowed p amount

then 6% interest has borrowed 200000-p amount

total interest = p×(8/100)×2 + (200000-p)×(6/100)×2

= (16p + 12×200000 - 12p)/100

=4p + 2400000=2720000

4p = 2720000 - 2400000

4p = 320000

p = 80000

Ans one loan 80000 and the other is 200000 - 80000 = 120000
