Answer:

Let the ratio of comics be 'x'

9x+6x+3x= 18

18x=18

x=18/18

x=1

so, 9*1=9, 6*1=6,3*1=3

Therefore first child got 9 books, second child got 6 books and third child got 3 books.

⭐GIVEN⭐

Total number of comics he bought is 18.

Ages of his children are 9 years , 6 years and 3 years.

To Find:

How many comics each of them will get ?

Solution: Let x be the common in given ratios of children ages. Therefore

First child = 9x comics

Second child = 6x comics

Third child = 3x comics

∴ Total ratio = 9x + 6x + 3x

➙ Total ratio = 18x

Now , let's find the value of x.

\implies{\rm }Total ratio = Total comics

\implies{\rm }18x = 18

\implies{\rm }x = 18/18

\implies{\rm } x = 1

So the number of comics each will get is

➯ First child = 9x = 9 × 1 = 9 comics

➯ Second child = 6x = 6 × 1 = 6 comics

➯ Third child = 3x = 3 × 1 = 3 comics

Hence, they will get 9 , 6 and 3 comics respectively.
