Answer:

SP of 12 nos = Rs 72

SP of 1no = 72/12 = Rs 6/-

Loss % = 10% , Let CP of one orange= X

But loss % = (CP- SP)*100/ CP

or 10= (X-6)*100/X

or 10*X = 100*X - 600

or 100X-10X = 600

or 90 X = 600

or X = 60/9 = 20 /3

Therefore CP of 100 orange = 20*100/3 = 2000/3

Given SP of 100 orange = 600

As SP is less than CP there is loss

and Loss % = (CP-SP)*100% /CP = (2000/3- 600) *100% / (2000/3)

Loss % = {(2000-1800)* 100 /3} * { 3/2000} = 200*100 /2000 = 10% (Answer)
