it can easily be probed by congruence criterion RHS between two triangles and then prove AP and PC equal by CPCT

L is the perpendicular bisector of A.C
So L is equidistant from A and C
P lies on the line L
So p is equidistinct from A and C
As the points on the same line will divide the line in equal ratio
