A cake is divided into 18 pieces. if A takes 1/3 of the cake and B takes 1/3 of the rest that are left how many pieces are still left​

Answer:

total pieces =18

A takes =1/3

B takes =1/3

. total taken part =

 \frac{1}{3}  +  \frac{1}{3}

  = \frac{2}{3}

actual piece taken =

 \frac{2}{3}  \times 18 = 12

rest pieces are 18-12=6
