Helen joined Cambridge school for Young Ladies in 1986 , so
she could prepare herself for RADCLIFFE.
Helen had a childhood dream/ desire that she would go to college some day.
A Cambridge school was a school for preparation for college. If one qualifies Cambridge school , one is allowed to take admission in college. Helen Keller wanted to go to same college where normal girls go.
ADVANTAGES ARE THE SCHOOL PROVIDE Helen Keller many facilities. They allowed Miss Sullivan to sit with her and attend classes. Two of Her teachers even learnt manual alphabets to teach Helen. She was given a separate room to attempt her exams and the questions were read out to her. Helen would type answer on typewriter. Mr. Gilman would read her all the answers she wrote and made necessary changes. With help of that school only she passed exams with higher credits.
DISADVANTAGES ARE:-
Helen was not a normal child. She wanted extra attention but classrooms were large, she could get.All books were not available in Braille. it was just impossible for Miss.Sullivan to interpret all the books into Helen' s hands.Geometry figures were drawn on the black board and Helen was blind. She had to make those figures on pillows and with the help of wire. Even Helen faced too much problem in geometry as she did guess work and guess work does not apply for maths.
Hope it helps you If it helps please mark it as brainliest answer
