Answer: v =6.6cm , hi = 1.67 , covex lens

Explanation: f = 50mm , 5cm

U = -20cm

1/V= 1/f +1/u

=1/5+(-1/20)

= 3/20

=> V = 20/3 = 6.66cm

m = v/u = 6.66/-20 = -0.34cm

hi/ho = -0.34

hi/5 = -0.34

=> hi = 5×(-0.34) = - 1.67 cm

Since v is positive so it's a covex lens
