Given: Camp of 200 people has sufficient food for 15 days .Due to arrival of some new people the food stays for 12 days. We have to find out: How many more people had arrived ?

Solution: In 15 days, people could eat the food =200 people

Therefore in 1 day,people would eat the food =200 × 15

Therefore in 12 days,people would eat the food=200×15÷12 = 250

Then write

Total no. of people in the camp =200 people

Therefore no. of more people who had arrived =(250-200) people =50

That is we can get the answer that the no. of more people who had arrived is 50.
