(a) Can a rectangular figure of area 6,300 cm? be drawn whose breadth is 20 cm less than the
length? If so, find its perimeter.​

Answer:

Area of the rectangular figure: 6300cm

Length of rectangular figure: x (considered for now)

Breadth of rectangular figure: x- 20cm

So,

x+x+(x-20)+(x-20)=6300cm

4x-20-20              =6300cm

4x-40                    =6300cm

4x                          =6300cm+40cm

4x                          =6340cm

x                            =(6340/4)cm

x                            =1585cm

So,

Length=1585cm

Breadth=1585cm-20cm

             =1565cm

Perimeter=2(1585)+2(1565)

                 =4964180
