Therefore, work done by A in 1 day = 1/(2*8) = 1/16

Similarly for B in 1 day = 1/(3*8) = 1/24

If both start working together, then work done by both combined in 1 day

= 1/16 + 1/24 = 5/48

So, then do 5/48th of work in 1 day.

So, to complete the work(=unity), they will take 48/5 = 9.6 days.
