*Answer:

A——12

B—-?

A+B——8

lcm is total work iln number of ulnits

hence LCM of (12,8)=24

One day work in units of A is 2 unit

One day work in units of B is (LCM/NO of units)

One day work in units of A+B=24/8=3

hence one day work of B is 1 unit

B can do total work in LCM/1=24

B can alone complete the same piece of work in 24 days.

Hence your third option is correct.

iii) 24 days.

Hope you like it.
