A and B can complete a work in 15 days and 10 days respectively.

The amount of work done by them together in 1 day = 1/15 + 1/10

= (2+3)/30

= 5/30

= 1/6

They worked together for 2 days.

The amount of work done by them together

= 2*(1/6)

= 1/3

The amount of work to be completed by A alone = 1 - 1/3 = 2/3

The number of days taken by A alone to complete the remaining work

= (2/3)/(1/15)

= 30/3

= 10

The whole work was completed in

(2+10) days or 12 days.
