As, A can complete the work in 12 days,

 \sf{ \therefore{A's \: 1 \: day \: work =  \frac{1}{12} }}

Again, B can complete the work in 8 days,

 \sf{ \therefore{B's\: 1 \: day \: work \:  =  \frac{1}{8} }}

Now, in 1 day, A and B together completes ,

 \sf{ \frac{1}{12}  +  \frac{1}{8}  }  \\  \\  \sf{ =    \frac{2 + 3}{24}}  \\  \\ \sf{ \orange{  =  \frac{5}{24} }}

 \sf{ \underline{ \green{Hence, \: A \: and \: B \: together \: completes \:  \frac{5}{24} of \: the  \: work. }}}

Hope this helps you Doraemon!! ✌
