A can complete a work in 40 days and B can do it in 60 days.
1) How long will it take to complete the work together?
2) in what time will they complete 1/3 of the work?​

A & B together will complete the work = ( 1/40 +1/60) = 5/6 part of the work in one day.

Extra work = ( 1 - 5/6)

so now,

2) whole work they com. together in 5 day.
