Answer:

In 60 Days B can do the whole work.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: No of days taken by A to do a work = 24

To find: No of days taken by B to do same work.

Let x be the amount of work.

So, Work done by A in 64 days  = x

⇒ Work done by A in 1 day =  \frac{x}{64}

Work done by A in 24 days = \frac{x}{64}\times24=\frac{24x}{64}

Work left by A =  x - \frac{24x}{64}

                            =  \frac{64x-24x}{64}

                            =  \frac{40x}{64}

Work done by B in 15 days = \frac{2}{5}\times\frac{40x}{64}\:=\:\frac{x}{4}

So, No of days taken by B to do \,\frac{x}{4}\:work = 15

No. of days taken by B to do x work = 15 × 4 = 60

Therefore, In 60 Days B can do the whole work.
