if a and b does together the work,then work gets completed in 50/7days. it is obtained by 1/time taken by a and b=1/time taken by a +1/time taken by b. we get 1/t=1/10+1/25=35/250=7/50. So in50/7 days 100%work is done then in 5 days 5×7/50×100=70% work is done. this is obtained by 100% work in 50/7 days so let's say x%work is done in 5 days. 100/x=50/35 then x=70%. if b performs 100%work in10 days it can perform the remaining30%work in 3days. answer is 3 days.
