A can do 40% of a work in 12 days, whereas B can do 60% of the same work in 15 days. Both work together for 10 days. C completes the remaining work alone in 4 days. A, B and C together will complete 28% of the same work in: (a) 2(1/2)days (b) 3 days (c) 13 days (d) 2 days

Answer: Option D = 2 days

Step-by-step explanation:

A can do 40% of work in = 12 days

A can do whole work (100%) of the work = 12 x (100/40) = 30 days

B can do 60 % of the work in = 15 days

B can do whole work (100%) of the work= 15x (100/60)= 25 days

let the total work be 150 work done by a and b in 10 days = (5=6)x10 = 110

remaining work = 150 - 110 = 40

let efficiency of C be x , then

4x= 40

x= 40/4 = 10

efficiency of c is 10

28% ofthe total work = 150 x (28/100)= 42

28% of the total work A, B & C will complete in = 42/( 5+6+10) = 42/21

= 2 days

if you undersyood this easily please mark it as the brainliest thank you!!
