A can do 50% more work than B in the same time. B alone can do a piece of work in 30 hrs. B starts working and had already worked for 12 hours when ‘A’ joins him. How many hours should B and A work together to complete the remaining work?

Step-by-step explanation:

ans is 6hrs

bcoz.. shishu 1 hr work is 1/30

mayank 1 hr work is 1/15

in 12 hrs ,12/30=2/5th of work is cmpleted, the remaining work is 3/5

1/30+1/15=1/10

so they both complete the whole work in 10 hrs

3/5 th part in 3/5*10=6 hrs

7 years agoHelpfull: Yes(5) No(15)sishu work is 30

mayank work is 15 bcoz 15% of sishu

total parts of work is 30 (LCM of 15,30)

so sishu 1hr work is 30/30=1

mayank 1hrwork is 15/30-2

already 12 hours work is over so remaining works is 18 (30-12)

both together complete 3work in 1hr

so 18/3=6

Ans is 6
