Solution of the given problem is shown below,

Let W denotes the whole given work.

Let c denotes the amount of time (in days) required by C to complete the work W. Hence,

C in 1 day can complete the amount of work W/c.

According to given data we have,

A and B separately can complete the work W in 10 days and 15 days respectively. Hence,

A & B by working alone, in 1 day can complete the amounts of work respectively W/10 & W/15.

A & B worked together for 5 days and completed a part of the whole work W, and the rest of the work was completed by C in 2 days. So we get the following relation,

5*(W/10 + W/15) + 2*W/c = W

or 2/c = 1 - 5/6 = 1/6 or c = 12 (days)

A, B & C got total Rs 4500 for the whole work W.

Let SA, SB & SC denote the shares of A, B & C respectively.

We know that the individual shares are proportional to individual amounts of work done. Hence we get,

SA = (4500/W)*(5*W/10) = 2250 (Rs)

SB = (4500/W)*(5*W/15) = 1500 (Rs)

SC = (4500/W)*(2*W/12) = 750 (Rs) [Ans]
