The number of days taken by B alone do the same job is 20 days.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A can do a job in 26 days.

B is 30% more efficient than A.

To Find:

The number of days taken by B alone do the same job.

Formula Used:

If  a man completes work in p days.

Work done in 1 day = 1/p part of the work.

Solution:

As given-B is 30% more efficient than A.

The ratio of number of days taken by A to B = 130:100

                                                                           =13:10

Let B takes K number of days.

26:K: \ : 13:10

 \frac{26}{K} =\frac{13}{10}

13K=26\times10

13K=260

K=20\ days

Thus,the number of days taken by B alone do the same job is 20 days.
