Given :-

  • Time required by A to complete work = 30days

  • Time required by B to complete work = 24days

To find :-

  • Number of days required when they work together.

Solution :-

==> Total work = L.C.M(30,24)

==> Total work = 120

Now:-

==> Efficiency of A = 120/30

==> Efficiency of A = 4

Similarly;

== Efficiency of B = 120/24

==> Efficiency of B = 5

Total time taken if A and B work together = 120/9

=40/3 days.

Hence :-

Number of days required to complete work together is 40/3 days.
