[tex]work \: done \: by \: a \: in \: 1 \: day \:  =  \:  \frac{1}{24}

work \: done \: by \: b \: in \: 1 \: day \:  =  \:  \frac{1}{30}

let \: work \: done \: by \: c \: in \: one \: day \:  =  \:  \frac{1}{c}

together \: they \: do \:  \frac{1}{12}  \: in \: one \: day

 \frac{1}{24}  +  \frac{1}{30}  +   \frac{1}{c}   =  \frac{1}{12}

c \:  = 120 \: days

 \frac{1}{24}  \:  \frac{1}{30}  \:  \frac{1}{120}

shares

a \:  =  \frac{1}{4}  \times 5000 = 1250

b \:  =  \frac{1}{5}  \times 5000 = 1000

c \:  =  \frac{1}{20}  \times 5000 = 250

[/tex]

Hence proved
