A can do a piece of work in 10 days and B in 20 days. They begin together but A leaves 2 days before the completion of the work. In how many days will the whole work be completed?

because,

thier numbers of lcm is 20

a's efficiency is 2 and b's efficiency is 1

total work=20

totalwork/efficiency=2days =3*2=6unitof work

20-6=14, reamaining work completd by b and his effiency is 1 =14*1=14 work

then total work completd in 2+14=16days
