A can do a piece of work in 10 days and B in 20 days . They begin together but A leaves two days before the completion of the work. In how many days will the project be completed​

WORK done by A in 1 day = 1/10

Work done by both A and B in a day = 1/20 + 1/10 = 3/20

1 part is done in 20/3 days

Both work for 20/3 - 2 = 14/3 days

Part of work done in these days 14/3 * 3/20 = 7/10

Part left = 3/10

B does 1 part in 20 days

B does 3/10 part in 6 days

Therefore work will be completed in more 6 days
