A can do a piece of work in 12days and B can do the same work in 20days. Theywork together for 3 days and then A goes away. In how many days will B finish the work

  \overline\mathfrak \red{answer}

In 1 day A and B together can do of the work=(1/12+1/20)

=>5+3/60 =>8/60 =>2/15

in 3 day A and B together can do 3×2/15=2/5

therefore, Remaining =1-2/5=3/5

Since, B can do 1/20 of work in 1 day ,therefore the no. of days he will take to finish 3/5 of the work.

= 3/5÷1/20

=3/5×20/1

=12days
