A can do a piece of work in 14 days and B is 40% more effective than A in how many days B can finish it.​

Therefore 40= 2 & 100= 5

If B is 40%more efficient than A

Consider A = 100 = 5 efficiency/day

B= 140 = (100+40) = 5+2 = 7 efficiency/day

A = 10 days

Total work =10×5=50

B can complete the same work in

Days = Total work/ efficiency/day

= 50/7 days
