Answer:

1o.2 days (hopefully I am right I mean the answer sorta looks wrong to me)

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the no. of days b works be x days

=> no. of days A works = (x - 3) days

No. of days in which A completes the work = 14 days

Part of work done by A in 1 day = 1/14

No. of days in which B completes the work = 21 days

Part of work done by B in 1 day = 1/21

According to question,

[(x - 3)/14] + [x/21] = 1 (since 1 whole work is done)

[3x - 9 + 2x]/42 = 1

5x = 51

x = 10.2 days

Therefore the work is done in 10.2 days
