Answer: 2.5 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets suppose the work to be completed is 100.

A finishes it in 15 days so his per day completion is 100/15= 6.6667% per day

B finishes it in 10 days so his per day completion is 100/10= 10% per day.

So in the first 5 days, they complete

= A + B

= (6.6667 × 5) + (10 × 5)

= 33.3333 + 50

= 83.333 % of work completed.

Leftover workload = 100- 83.3333% = 16.666667 %

Divide that by A's efficiency rate of 6.6667% = 16.6667/6.6667 = 2.4999 or 2.5 days or 3 days(conversion to whole days)
