Hello!

Here's the Answer :

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Days taken by A to complete work = 16
1 Day work of A = 1 /16

Days taken by B to complete work = 12
1 Day work of B = 1 /12

1 Day work of Both A and B =
1 /16 + 1 /12
(LCM of 16 and 12 = 48)
3 + 4 / 48
9 /48
3 / 16

2 Days work of A =
1 /16 × 2
2 /16
1 /8

Remaining Work =
1 - 1 /8
8 - 1 / 8
7 / 8

Time required to complete Work =

Total Work ÷ One Day Work
7 /8 ÷ 3 /16
7 /8 × 16 /3
14 /3
4 whole 2 /3

4 Days 16 Hours

Working Together they can complete work in 4 days 16 hours .
