A can do a piece of work in 18 days B can do the same work in 12 days. If A+B can work for 6 days and then A leaves . In how many days will b can finish.​

Answer:

A and B complete 1/12 and 1/18 of work respectively in 1 day.

They complete (1/12 + 1/18) or 5/36 of work together in 1 day.

Working together for 2 days, they complete 2 × 5/36 or 5/18 of work.

After A leaves, B is left with 1-5/18 or 13/18 of work.

As B completes 1 work in 18 days, he'll take 13/18 × 18 or 13 days to complete remaining 13/18 work.

Ans: 13.
