A’s 1 day work=1/20
B’s 1 day work=1/12
Work done by B in 9 days=1/12*9
=3/4
Let no.of days for A to finish work be x
Total work done by A=x+9 days
3/4+1/20*(x+6)=1
3/4+(x+6)/20=1
84+4x/80=1
84+4x=80*1
84-80=4x
4/4=x
x=1
Therefore, Abalone can finish the work in another x+9=10 days

Hope it helps
