Hi,

Here's ur answer:-

When days taken by A = 20, work done = 1
When days taken by A = 1, work done = 1/20

When days taken by B = 25, work done = 1
When days taken by B = 1 ,work done = 1/25

Ratio of work done in one day A:B =
1/20:1/25 = 25:20 = 5:4

So, their efficiency is 5:4

Sum of the parts in ratio = 5+4=9

So,sum received by A = 5/9 × 3600 = 2000

HOPE IT HELPS (^_^)

Thank you for asking this question. Here is your answer:

Suppose total work is 1

A=1/15 & B=1/25 for one day work

when both work together

(A+B)= (1/15)+(1/25)=7/60

for 7 days

(7/60)x7=7/15

For remaining work

1-(7/15)=8/15

Answer (8/15)
