Work done by A in 1 day = 1/20

Work done by B in 1 day = 1/25

Work done by A + B in 1 day = (1/20 + 1/25) = 9/100

Work done by A + B in 5 days = (5 × 9/100) = 9/20

So work left = 11/20

Time taken by A to finish the remaining work = (11/20 ÷ 1/20) = (11/20 × 20/1) = 11 days.

The required answer is 11days.
