No .of days taken by A to do a piece of work = 20days.

No.of days taken by B to do a piece of work = 30 days.

The no.of days taken by both of them to finish the job working to = 20×30/20+30=600/50=12days.

■HEY DEAR.... HERE IS YOUR ANSWER

A can do the work in20 days

(A) 1 day work = 1/20.

B can do the work in 30 days

(B) 1 day work = 1/30..

Both 1 day work = 1/20+ 1/30 = 5/60 = 1/12..

if A and B work together , 1/12 of work is completed in 1 day..

1 work will be completed in 1÷ 1/12 days = 1×12/1 = 12 days....
