Answer:

A can do in 30 days

B can do in 20 days

Lcm of 30 and 20 gives 60 so the total work is 60 units

A can complete 60 units of work in 60/30=2

B can complete 60 units of work in 60/20=3

Both are work together for 4days means

In one days A+B can do (2+3)=5 units of work

for 4 days 4(5)=20 units of work completed

B leaves job so the remaining work is completed by A only

Remaining work 60-20=40

A can do 2units of work per a day

so it can complete in 40/2= 20 days
