Answer:

First find how much work A and B can do power day.

A can do 1/3/5 =1/15 of the work per day

B can do 2/5/10=2/50=1/25 of the work per day.

A and B can do (1/15)+(1/25) work per day.

= 8/75 of the per day

Days needed for then to complete the work = 75/8 (as 8/75 and 75/8 multiplied will get 1, that is, the whole task)

Number of days needed= 75/8 = 9.375 days ≈ 10 days. (As the number of days should be a whole number)

Answer:

A can do 1 part of work in 4 days

In 1 day he can do 1/4 part work

B can do a work in 12 days

In 1 day he can do 1/12 part

In 1 day they togather can do 1/4 + 1/12 part = 4/12 = 1/3 part

They can complete 1/3 part in 1 day

they can complete 1 part of work in (1÷1/3) day = 1×3 = 3 days

They can complete the work in 3 days togather
