Answer:

12 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

A's one day work=1/4...........(1)

B and C 's one day work=1/3..... . (2)

A and C 's one day work=1/2.........(3)

subtract (2) from (3)

(A-B) 's one day work=1/2-1/3=1/6

B 's one day work =1/4-1/6=1/12

B can do this workin 12 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

A's 1 day work =1/4

B and C 1 day work =1/3

A and C 1 day work =1/2

NOW WE HAVE EQUATION

A=1/4

B+C=1/3.........EQ1

A+C=1/2 .......EQ2

FROM EQ1 EQ2 WE GET

A-B =1/2-1/3

A-B=3-2/6

A-B=1/6

1/4-B=1/6

B=1/4-1/6

B=1/12

B'S 1 DAY WORK =1/12

B CAN DO IN 12 days
