A can do a piece of work in 6 days while A and B can do it together in 2 days. How many days will be taken by B to do the job alone​

If B alone can do the same work in 9ays, means that B does 1/9th of the work in a day.

Therefore A does (1/6)-(1/9) =(9–6)/(6*9) = 3/54 = 1/18th of the work in a day. Therefore A working alone will complete the same work in 18 days.
