Answer: C can complete the work alone in 11.5 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

A can do the work in = 6 hours

B can do the work in = 8 hours

Sum of time taken by A and B = (6+8) = 14 hours.

Therefore, C completed the work with the help of A and B in time =5/2

C can comple the work alone in the time = 5/2 -14

= 11.5 Ans.

hope this helps you.
