A can do a work in 6 days and B can do it in 8 days. They worked together for 2 days ar
then B left the work. How many days will A require to finish the work?

t the point of B leaving the job, he has 2/8 of the work done, so 1/4.

During that same two days A performed 2/6 of the work, so 1/3.

At this very sad morning, whereas A is all by herself, 1/3 + 1/4 of the work is done.

So the remaing work is 1 - 7/12 = 5/12 of the work. Since A tackles 2/12 of the work per day, two and a half days later all the work will be done, A will get the money and probably you will have undeserved credit for your homework.
