A can do a work in 6 days and B can in 9 days. How many days will both take together to complete the work.

heya mate here is your answer

A's 6days work = 1
B's 9days work = 1

one day work of A = 1/6
one day work of B = 1/9

A and B together's one day work
= 1/6 + 1/9
= 9+6 /54
=15/54

number of days taken by A and B together to complete their work = 54/15

According to average concept.....

(6+9)÷2
15÷2=7.5
