As We know that A can do piece of work in 30 days and B can finish it in 25 days.

So, One day work of A and B as:

  • A's Work = 1/30
  • B's Work = 1/25

» We also know that they worked together for 10 days and we have to calculate their 10 days works.

→ (1/30 + 1/25) × 10

→ (5+6)/150 × 10

→ 11/15

So, 11/15th work are completed in 10 days by them.

Now, It's time find the remaining works.

→ 1 - 11/15

→ 4/15th

Finally, 4/15th work are remaining of the total work.

»Now, A left the work and remaining work has to be done by B.

→ (4/15)/(1/25)

→ 4×25/15

→ 6.6

Hence,

B can complete the remaining work in 6.6 days (approx.).
