A will work in one day 1/20 work.

B can do in one day 1/25 work.

A and B will work together in one day = 1/20 + 1/25 = ( 20 + 25 )/500 = 45/500 = 9/100

A and B will work in 10 days = 10 x 9/100 work.

The work remains after 10 days = 1 - 27/100 = (100 - 27)/100 = 73/100

The remaining work of 73/100 will be finished by A alone in days = (73/100)/(1/20) = 73/100 x (20/1) =73/5 days

14 3/5 days will be taken by A to finish the remaining work.
