When the water in the can is heated, it changes to steam. This steam fillsthe can, replacing most of the air that was inside of it. When the invertedcan is placed in cold water, the steam condenses, leaving the canmostly empty, and thus with a very low pressure inside of it.

the can get crushed as due to hot water molecules of can det heated but as soon as cool water is poured into it molecules of can get cool directly in very short interval due to which Bond between molecules break as a result can break.
