A finish a job in = 3 days
A 1 day work = 1/3
B finish a job in = 6 days
B 1 day work = 1/6
a+b 1 day work = 1/3 +1/6
= 3/6
=1/2
hence they both will finish work in 1/1/2=2.
so ans. is 2 days

Work done by A in 3 days =1
so,work done by A in 1 day =1/3.
Work done by B in 6 days =1.
so Work done by B in 1 day=1/6.
in 1 day work done by both A and B=1/3+1/6
=6+3/18
=9/18
=1/2.

sò,complete work is done by them in=1÷1/2
=1×2
=2 days.
