One day work of A=1/18
B can do the work in half the time taken by A=2/18=9 days.
One day work of B =1/9
(A+B)'s one day work =
$= \frac{1}{18} + \frac{1}{9} \\ = \frac{2 + 1}{18} \\ = \frac{3}{18}$
$= \frac{1}{6}$
Hence,They can complete the work in 6 days
