A can lay railway track between two given stations in 16 days and B can do the same job in 12 days. With help of C,they did the job in 4 days only in how many days?

the question is lacking info. but I guess the question is to determine in how many days C alone can finish the work.
A's work in one day= 1/16
B's work in ie day= 1/12
A+B+C's work together in one day=1/4
C's work in one day=1/4-((1/16)+(1/12))=(1/4)-((3+2)/48)=(12-5)/48=7/48
so alone can finish the job in 48/7 days
A's work in one day= 1/16
B's work in ie day= 1/12
A+B+C's work together in one day=1/4
C's work in one day=1/4-((1/16)+(1/12))=(1/4)-((3+2)/48)=(12-5)/48=7/48
so alone can finish the job in 48/7 days
