a can of hair spray contains the following:'Do not store at temperature above 49 degree celsius".what is the reason for this warning?

inflammable... that's the high boiling point of the content inside it  which may result in burstiing of the can 

TPS: if a substance has high boiling point, then there is no danger in storing at high temperature.
Shruti64: but the boiling point is not that high .. its below 45degree

They mention that on hair spray cans because the contents can react very badly to heat. Due to this, it will most probably blast... Or it will not have the same effects. Either way, it is best to keep such reactive things in cool, dry and hygenic places.
