ANSWER: He can fill 100 bottles

Total volume of milk = 50 litres

Capacity of one bottle = 500 ml = 0.5 litres

Number of bottles * capacity per bottle = total volume

Let number of bottles be "n"

Thus,

n * 0.5 = 50

n = 50/0.5

n = 100
